“Bam Bam was an enthusiastic, up beat, proud local Phuket woman, who clearly enjoyed showing us her city. We went to a variety of different lookouts and saw monkeys eating fruit. At Wat Chalong, she gave the group the option exploring the site independently or giving an offering/prayer. We took the latter and she shared her understanding and taught us how do Buddhist prayers. She was intuitive - she allowed the group to follow her but also allowed time for go off individually or in small groups. Unfortunately due to the landslide we could not visit the Big Buddha, although it was visible in the distance from the lookouts and…”

“Wouldn’t recommend this trip. While you do see some cultural sites and temples, the tour includes mandatory stops at a honey shop and a cashew shop, which aren't mentioned in the itinerary. Although mildly interesting, these stops felt like a waste of time. As a result, there’s less than an hour at the night market, which isn’t enough to properly explore. That time would have been much better spent at the market or the temples (the main reason we booked this tour). If you have no other way to get around Phuket, this tour might be useful, but otherwise you’re better off saving your time and using Grab.”
